About

With roots in the Midwest, Texas and travels across the United States, the landscape has inspired Becky Reeder in her paintings and in her interior design work. Becky is moved by nature, but also by the interior environment. She believes the comfort of home, where moments and memories are made, is vital to a person’s well-being. Her artwork is a simple representation of her travels and the places that remind her of home. Nothing makes her happier than to know that one of her paintings will help make someone else’s home or workplace a little more joyful.

When Becky is not spending time in the great outdoors or in her studio, you will find her enjoying every moment she can with family. She and her husband, Michael, have been married 33 years. They have four children and five grandchildren. Passionate about a life well-lived, Becky also blogs. It is her hope that in sharing her story, others will be inspired and encouraged by her life “remade.”

Becky’s education in the arts includes university coursework in fine art and  interior design. Her love for art is equaled by her love for business. In addition to an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design, Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Master of Science in Management and Leadership. Becky continues her art education through self-study and studio classes.

But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8

The Story

Becky’s story is likely not all that different from the everyday woman. Her life has taken twists and turns with family and friends, with career and within her heart. Some paths been harder than others, but each have led to great joy. Not because the circumstances dictated so, but because of the great hope she has in the One called Jesus. She will tell you, and often does so in her blog, that He has never failed her.

Her love of art began at a young age, but Becky struggled to find her way in a world where fitting in seemed to matter.  It is through all those twists and turns she now understands that your worth is not defined by what you can accomplish or produce, but by who created you. Set free to be who she was created to be, Becky now paints and helps other artist reproduce their art in print form.

Her most recent road traveled is to Wichita Falls, Texas. Inspired by the journey, she has set up her studio at home with a passion to grow, and walk each step in faith. She credits God for the place they now call home and the work he has provided.
